AI Policy

AI is quickly changing how leaders think, decide and work. I’m curious about it, and I use it in parts of my business. This page explains how I use AI and what you can expect from me as your coach. I’m still learning everyday, so consider this a working document that will be updated over time.

Why I keep AI out of our Coaching

Leadership is made of hard moments: weighing a decision with no clear answer, sitting with a conflict, and working out what you actually believe. It’s tempting to hand that heavy lifting to AI because it’s fast and sounds confident. But critical thinking is a skill, and skills weaken when we stop using them. It may start small, with a first draft here and a summary there, and the habit can grow.

That slope is slippery, and I don’t want our coaching work to be where it begins. The point of coaching is to strengthen your judgment, not to hand it over. I don’t use AI in our coaching work.

The One Exception

If you’d like AI to take notes during our calls, just tell me when we start a session. No recordings or summaries of our calls are generated unless specifically requested by a client. Client confidentiality is an important part of my code of ethics as an executive coach.

How I use AI in My Business

I use AI employees for administration, accounting, marketing, and research support. AI helps me gather, crunch numbers and draft. My stories, experience and opinions are my own. If you have questions or concerns about AI in our coaching work, I’m happy to set up time to discuss.
